MOSCOW, February 11 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian-Belarussian Supreme State Council is due to meet in late March-early April, State Secretary Pavel Borodin of the union state told reporters on Wednesday.

In his words, the Supreme State Council is to consider the draft of the constitutional act and the introduction of the single currency of the union state.

The Council of Ministers believes that these issues are ready for consideration of the Supreme State Council, said Borodin.

Borodin did not rule it out that the introduction of the single currency scheduled for January 1, 2005 might be postponed.

We are not ready yet, we have a lot of problems and disagreements, in particular, the value added tax and the financial and credit policy have not been coordinated, he noted. However, these issues are negotiable and will be solved.

On Tuesday Pavel Borodin described the problems between Beltransgaz and Gazprom as corporate, not interstate.

But Borodin promised that these issues would be resolved.
