MOSCOW, January 25 (RIA Novosti) - Beltransgaz confirmed the fulfillment of its commitments before private Russian companies Itera and Transnafta up to January 29 inclusive, sources in Russian companies reported.
At the same time the sources said that despite repeated reminders, the Belarussian side evades determining the volumes of gas deliveries from Russia to Belarus in February this year and later.
In case the January situation repeats itself, independent Russian gas producers will be forced to take measures to restrict gas deliveries to Belarus, the sources said.
"Illusions in regard to the possibility of getting gas on non-market conditions (i.e., at Russian domestic prices) are groundless," the sources stressed.
