CAIRO, January 25 (RIA Novosti corr. Igor Kuznetsov) - Russia will deliver grain to Egypt, Hassan Ali Khedr, Egyptian Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, told local news agency MENA on Sunday.
In his words, a relevant agreement was reached at the talks with members of the Russian delegation that arrived in Cairo to attend the first session of the Russian-Arab Business Council.
The Egyptian minister did not name the volumes of grain deliveries, to start in the fall of 2004.
He also said that joint projects were touched upon at the talks, in particular, on water desalination and civil aircraft manufacturing.
