RAO UNIFIED ENERGY SYSTEMS OF RUSSIA HEAD TO TAKE PART IN DAVOS FORUM

MOSCOW, January 21 (RIA Novosti) - Chief Executive Officer of the RAO Unified Energy Systems of Russia Anatoly Chubais flies to Swiss Davos on Wednesday to attend the World Economic Forum.

The press release of the company's department for contacts with the mass media says that Anatoly Chubais will take part in the international meeting of the heads of energy business in the context of the Davos forum. He will discuss with his counterparts the perspectives of the electric energy market in Russia and ensurance of the safety in this industry.

Apart from that, Chubais will take part in the discussion of the consequences of the expansion of the European Union for the border countries.

It is expected that the RAO Unified Energy Systems of Russia Chief Executive Officer will have a number of personal meetings, including meetings with newly elected Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan and leading Western businessmen, to discuss the prospects of cooperation with the Russian energy company.
