KYRGYZ PREMIER TO HOLD TALKS WITH RUSSIA'S LEADING MINISTERS IN MOSCOW

BISHKEK, January 19, 2004. /RIA Novosti/. Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Nikolai Tanayev who is to pay a routine visit to Moscow on Tuesday will discuss Russian-Kyrgyz industrial and trade cooperation with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Kasyanov.

In addition, Tanayev will hold talks with heads of Russia's largest companies such as RAO UES Russia and Gazprom, Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu, Atomic Energy Minister Anatoly Rumyantsev and other officials, the press service of the Kyrgyz government told RIA Novosti on Monday.

The sides will also discuss the implementation of the resolution of Russia-Kyrgyzstan investment forum which was held in Bishkek in October 2003, and problems of labor migrants.

Nikolai Tanayev is expected to discuss with Anatoly Chubais, the head of RAO UES Russia, supplies of Kyrgyz electric energy to Russia and prospects for Russia's participation in the building of Kambar-Ata hydroelectric power plants.

The Kyrgyz Prime Minister will discuss in Moscow the participation of Russian businessmen in the purchase of the state-owned package of Kyrgyzneftegaz shares and joint implementation of the second stage of the reconstruction project of the Bishkek thermoelectric power station.
