RUSSIA SENDS UP SECOND-HAND LORRY IMPORT DUTIES

MOSCOW, JANUARY 16, (RIA NOVOSTI) - The Russian government has increased import duties on foreign-made lorries of more than seven years make. Federal Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov signed a respective resolution today, reports the government information boards. The new rate has been established at a euro per 1 cu cm of engine capacity.

The arrangement will remain valid for nine months, and enters into force a month after its official publication.
