"Saudi Arabia has accumulated great experience in oil refining. We will even ask them to deliver the equipment to Chechnya. We cannot process 20 million tons of oil a year as before. We don't need this," Isayev said.
He also recalled that, in the draft treaty on the delimitation of powers between the federal center and the republic, Chechnya raised the question of directing all the revenues from the oil extraction and processing to the republic with the aim of speeding up the restoration of its social and economic spheres till 2013.
In addition, Isayev said, the sides will discuss the deliveries of medical equipment and medicines to Chechnya, and the development of trade and small business there with the assistance of Saudi Arabia.
The official visit of the Chechen delegation headed by the republic's president, Akhmad Kadyrov to Saudi Arabia will last from January 15 through 18.
