400 kilometres to the south of the Adelaide, Australia, a giant asteroid fell into the sea, splitting up in the night sky with an explosion. A bright flash was seen by residents of two states, South Australia and Victoria.

Initially, it is seen that an object is moving in the sky, which suddenly flares up and begins to fall rapidly to the ground.

NASA scientist Steve Chesley said in an interview with ABC Radio Adelaide that he considers the object that was seen in Australia was originated in an asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter millions of years ago.
