A violent fire was first reported at 11 AM local time (3 AM GMT) on Wednesday at the Google office in the Zhongguancun tech district, also known as China's Silicon Valley, in the country's capital.

The dangerous incident forced employees to evacuate the office, but, according to a New York Times reporter, this was only for 20 minutes, as firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and put out the blaze that was raging on the roof of the building.
