MOSCOW (Sputnik) - A vehicle crashed into a middle school in India's eastern Bihar state, killing nine children and injuring 24 others, local media reported Saturday.

The injured were taken to a local hospital in the city of Muzaffarpur, the ANI news agency reported.

The driver's identity and the reasons behind the incident have not been established yet. The investigation is underway.
