NEW DELHI (Sputnik) – A powerful explosion occurred at a rally in the Pakistani city of Lahore, several people have been injured, local media reported Monday.

According to the Geo TV channel, the blast hit close to the Punjab Assembly. Several hundred people were protesting against changes in drug legislation of the regional government at the time of the incident.
