ASTANA (Sputnik) — UN Special Envoy Staffan de Mistura is holding a meeting with Syrian government delegation one hour before the formal beginning of the Astana talks on Monday, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
The talks are expected to begin at 7:00 GMT in the capital of Kazakhstan. According to country’s foreign ministry, the talks are expected to conclude on Tuesday.
