    The countries of Central Asia demonstrate rapid pace of economic growth and development, Turkish Deputy Parliament Speaker Ahmet Aydin told Sputnik Wednesday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Aydin said that the growth trend can be observed throughout Asia.

    "We may see a very high level of growth tendencies on the territories from Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran and Azerbaijan to Turkic republics of the Central Asia," Aydin said.

    Russia and China maintain leadership in the Asia-Pacific region, while India successfully demonstrates unprecedented development rates, the deputy parliament speaker stressed.

    Aydin noted that the territories of the Asian region were the most populated in the world with over 65 percent of the planet's population living there.
