No Russian citizens were killed or injured in a powerful earthquake that hit Indonesia’s North Sumatra on Wednesday, the Russian embassy in Indonesia said.

BALI (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, 92 people were reportedly killed in the 6.5-magnitude quake that struck the Aceh province.

"According to preliminary data, there are no Russian nationals among the victims of the natural disaster," the embassy’s press attache told RIA Novosti.
