About 100 people were reportedly trapped inside the hotel and were evacuated using a crane.

The incident occurred early on Monday morning at the Karachi’s Regent Plaza Hotel. According to hotel sources, it broke out in the kitchen and swept through the building.

There are three foreigners among those injured, including Chinese officials.
