Last month, three middle-aged drunken men, including a doctor who allegedly damaged an air ambulance helicopter at Dankook University Hospital, were finally caught by police and charged.
Following the incident, all three suspects were fined 2.2 million dollars each.
On August 11, the three men decided to “play” with the emergency helicopter while being heavily intoxicated. Presumably, they found it hilarious to forcibly move the aircraft’s tail rotor and climb on top of it.
As a result, the men ended up causing damages to the chopper to the tune of over 200,000 dollars.
During the police interrogation, one of the three men confessed that he had drunk too much that day and did not notice that it was a helicopter.
