    Death Toll Climbs to 25 in Suicide Bomber Attack on Mosque in Pakistan

    The death toll in a suicide bomber attack on a mosque in northwestern Pakistan rose to 25, a regional official said, with 30 wounded during the attack on a packed mosque.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A suicide bomber detonated himself in a mosque in northern Pakistan, causing casualties among the people attending Friday prayers, local media reported.

    The explosion, which took place in the mosque in the Mohmand region, killed at least 25 people and wounded 30 others, DunyaNews Pakistan‎ said.

    Those wounded were transferred to the region of Bajaur and nearby hospitals.

    No one took responsibility for the attack so far.
