BEIJING (Sputnik) — Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang will participate in the 71th session of the UN General Assembly on September 18-28, the Chinese Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Hua Chunying said on Wednesday.
According to Hua, Li is also set to visit Canada and Cuba during his trip.
On Tuesday, the 71th session of the UN General Assembly kicked off under the presidency of Peter Thomson, the permanent representative of Fiji. The session is due to proceed to general political debates scheduled for September 20 through September 26, which will give floor to some 100 presidents and prime ministers.
