    At Least 21 Killed, 16 Injured as Bus Falls Into River in Nepal

    At least 21 people were killed and 16 more were injured in a Friday bus accident in southwestern Nepal.

    NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — According to The Himalayan Times, the bus with 39 people aboard fell into Trishuli River in country's Chitwan district located at the border with India.

    The newspaper added citing police sources that 20 people died on the spot, while one more succumbed to injuries in the hospital of nearest town of Bharatpur.

    The incident took place at 4:45 a.m. local time (23:00 GMT on Thursday), the media outlet added.
