BALI (Sputnik) – The arrested individual is believed to have provided financial support to those who organized the attack.
"The money was used to buy materials for the bomb and to send the bomb to Solo," National Police spokesman Gen. Insp. Boy Rafli Amar said on Wednesday, as quoted by The Jakarta Globe newspaper.
On July 5, a suicide bomber attacked a police station in the city of Solo, killing himself and injuring one officer. The attack was reportedly plotted by a network coordinated by Bahrun Naim, an Indonesian believed to be fighting alongside the Daesh terrorist group, banned in a range of countries, including Russia.
Earlier this week, two other suspects in the attack were detained in Lampung and South Sumatra.
