Japanese Foreign Ministry Voices Protest Against Launch of N.Korean Missile

The Japanese Foreign Ministry voiced protest against the North Korean missile launched on Wednesday, media reported.

TOKYO (Sputnik) — According to Kyodo agency, the protest was handed over to Pyongyang through diplomatic channels in Beiijng, as Japan and North Korea have no diplomatic relations.

Earlier in the day, the South Korean military registered a North Korean ballistic missile with a range of 1000 kilometers (621 miles) fired off from the province of Hwanghae-Namdo in the direction of the Sea of Japan.
