NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested Seikh Abbasuddin and Saddam Hussain from the Birbhum district of West Bengal on Wednesday in a major crackdown on suspected terrorists in the Birbhum and Burdwan districts.
Both Seikh Abbasuddin and Saddam Hussain were in close contact with Musa.
Musa, an alleged Daesh recruiter, was arrested earlier on Monday at the Burdwan railway station by the West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department following a tip off. Arresting officers confiscated a sharp weapon, a firearm and ammunition, as well as six SIM cards and two fake voter ID cards.
After the Dhaka terror attack, Indian security agencies have stepped up security along the India-Bangladesh border and are keeping close watch on the terror suspects.
