13:18 GMT 12.06.2016 (Updated: 14:14 GMT 12.06.2016) At least four people were hurt on Sunday in a blast at Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — China’s central CCTV channel reported that a beer bottle packed with home-made explosives was detonated in Terminal 2’s check-in area. The suspected attacker tried to commit suicide by cutting his throat and was hospitalized in "serious condition," according to the outlet. The wounded were only slightly injured, the channel reported in its Twitter feed. One of them is reportedly from the Philippines. Police cordoned off the affected area but airport operations have since been restored.
