TOKYO (Sputnik) – A magnitude 5.6 earthquake shook Japan's Ibaraki prefecture, north of Tokyo, on Monday, the country's Meteorological Agency said.
The earthquake could be felt in several neighboring regions, including the capital, according to the agency. No tsunami warning has been issued.
