    At least 2 people died on Sunday as a result of a powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan, another 4 were injured, media said.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The quake was recorded 39 kilometers (24miles) south of the Ashkasham city in the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan. The epicenter recorded at a depth of 211 kilometers (131 miles).

    According to the NDTV channel, tremors were felt across north India, including Delhi and National Capital Region and Kashmir.

    The earthquake went on for several minutes.
