Ilham Aliyev has accused Armenia of provocations on the line of the contact zone that impeded the ceasfire negotiations process.

BAKU (Sputnik) — Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has accused Armenia of provocations on the line of the contact zone in the breakaway region of Nagorno-Karabakh which are hampering the negotiations process, Alyiev's press service said Wednesday.

"Once the opportunity for progress appears in the Nagorno-Karabakh's conflict negotiations process, the Armenian side carries out provocations on the contact line in Karabakh. Azerbaijan is committed to the peaceful settlement of the conflict," Aliyev was quoted as saying by his press service during a meeting with the monitoring committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for Azerbaijan.
