    A major fire in the southwestern Chinese Guizhou province injured over 100 villagers, local media reported on Sunday.

    BEIJING (Sputnik) According to The Beijing Times newspaper, the fire occurred late on Saturday evening in a village in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture.

    At least 60 houses adjacent to each other and made of wood were affected by the fire that was extinguished a few hours later.

    The cause of the incident is reportedly being established. Rescuers are working on the scene.
