Suicide Bomber Kills 5, Injures 6 Near US Airbase in Afghanistan
Earlier on Monday, Fox News reported, citing an anonymous senior US defense official, that a suicide bomber killed six US troops and wounded two more Americans in an attack near Bagram Air Base in northern Afghanistan.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the Monday attack, according to media reports.

The US-led NATO mission formally ended its International Security Assistance Force combat operations in Afghanistan on December 31, 2014, but it transitioned to a non-combat mission in the country.
