Fourteen People Killed in Collision Between Train, Bus in Jakarta

At least 14 people on board a minibus died Sunday after the vehicle collided with a train on a rail crossing in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The bus was hit by the train after it drove past a closed gate at the crossing. The vehicle was dragged by the train about 200 meters (660 feet) from the collision site, local police said as cited by Channel NewsAsia broadcaster.

Six passengers traveling on the minibus survived the crash and were hospitalized, according to the news outlet. No one on the train was hurt in the accident.
