BEIJING (Sputnik) – On Friday evening, a series of coordinated attacks occurred in Paris at several locations, including the Bataclan concert hall and the Stade de France stadium. Gunfire and suicide bombings killed 129 people and injured at least 350 others.
According to the local Xinhua news agency, Guo Shengkun urged authorities at all levels to take into account "the complex nature" of the fight against terrorism. He stressed the need to focus on preventive measures in crowded areas and important facilities, ordering reinforced patrols and security.
Guo Shengkun added that the government will make further efforts to collect and analyze intelligence to counter terrorism.
