MOSCOW (Sputnik) — As of 11 am (03:00 GTM), another 68 international flights were delayed, country's Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) reported.
According to the CCA, several Taiwanese carriers reported flight disruptions and more reports on flight adjustments are expected later on Saturday.
According to the Central News Agency, as of early Saturday, four people have lost their lives in incidents related to typhoon Soudelor. Another four people were reported missing and some sixty-four others were injured.
Earlier on Saturday, some two million people were left without power as typhoon Soudelor made landfall on the Taiwan’s east coast.
On Thursday, Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau issued a land warning for typhoon Soudelor, warning against strong gusts and heavy rainfall.
According to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center, Soudelor became the strongest typhoon this year on Monday.
