A pair of roadside bomb explosions have reportedly occurred in Afghanistan, killing at least twelve people and injuring twelve more.

At least twelve people have been killed and twelve others wounded in twin suicide bomb blasts in Afghanistan, officials said.

The first explosion took place in the Kapisa province east of the capital Kabul, while the second blast ripped through a police vehicle in the northern Kunduz province.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, which some say could be the work of Taliban militants who have repeatedly referred to roadside bombings as their fight Afghan security forces.
