TOKYO (Sputnik) — Japan will hold an international cybersecurity conference in the city of Okinawa on November 7-8, the Japanese government said in a press release Friday.
Some 300 politicians, major businessmen and scientists from different countries will take part in the Cyber3 conference, which will be held with the support of the World Economic Forum.
The conference will focus on three main topics – cybercommunication, cybersecurity and cybercrime. The participants will concentrate on mechanisms of international cooperation in countering hacker attacks and cybercrime.
The Japanese government has set cybersecurity as one of priorities ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.
