MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to CCTV channel, two of the injured survivors are in serious condition in Lushan County after the residence caught on fire late Monday.

China's state television reports the blaze in the rest home has been put out and says local police expect the death toll to increase.

Search operations are underway for more survivors in the nursing home, where the channel cites staff members as saying over 160 seniors lived at the time when the fire broke out.
