A roadside bomb explosion has reportedly killed at least two people in Uruzgan province in southern Afghanistan.

At least two people have been killed and one more wounded in a roadside bomb blast in southern Afghanistan's Uruzgan province; a district administrative chief and his bodyguard were killed in the explosion, sources said.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but some point the finger at Taliban militants who have repeatedly staged suicide attacks against Afghan security forces using roadside bombs.
