The tour is planned for four days with the journey taking Chinese tourists from the southern border city of Kaesong to Mt. Myohyang and the truce village of Panmunjom.

The first train tour of North Korea from the Chinese border city of Dandong will leave on May 26, reports China's Xinhua news agency.

The tour is planned for four days with the journey taking Chinese tourists from the southern border city of Kaesong to Mt. Myohyang and the truce village of Panmunjom, which is located in the middle of the Demilitarized Zone dividing the two Koreas.

The trip will cost between 2,000 Yuan ($320) and 3,000 Yuan ($480).

North Korea has recently permitted more cross-border tours for Chinese tourists since it lifted travel restrictions imposed due to concerns over the Ebola virus. Last October, North Korea banned foreign tourists and imposed 21-day quarantine on all people, including diplomats, entering the country.
