China has officially approved the establishment of three additional free-trade zones in the country.

China has given approval for the establishment of three additional free-trade zones, despite the country's first project in Shanghai proving disappointing 18 months after its formation.

Fujian, Guangdong, and Tianjin's are set to become free trade zones after official approval was given during a recent Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee convention.
