A massive fire erupted in North Korea on Monday and rapidly spread to the South Korean side of the inter-Korean border. The cause of the fire was unknown, said an official of the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.
More than 50 firefighters and three helicopters were called up to extinguish the fire on the south side of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) border, an official at the South Korean border town of Paju was reported as saying, adding that there were no reports of casualties.
