    During the drive to the airport in Ahmedabad, India, two cars in the motorcade had a minor traffic accident resulting in some damage to both cars, US State Department spokesperson Psaki said, commenting on the accident. No injuries were reported and the motorcade with Kerry is said to have continued to the airport without further mishap.

    MOSCOW, January 12 (Sputnik) — US Secretary of State John Kerry has been involved in a minor car accident while travelling to the airport in the Indian city of Ahmedabad, according to the US Department of State.

    "During the drive to the airport in Ahmedabad, India, two cars in the motorcade had a minor traffic accident resulting in some damage to both cars," US Department of State spokesperson Jen Psaki was quoted as saying by Sky News, commenting on the accident.

    There have been no reported injuries and the motorcade with Kerry is said to have continued to the airport without further mishap.

    On Sunday, Kerry arrived in India to participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, held from January 11 to 13, covering a variety of subjects including healthcare, sustainable development, renewable energy, and tourism.
