The North Korean leader instructed all military units to rehearse under simulated conditions of a real war and called for strong measures against formalism in the army.

MOSCOW, November 23 (Sputnik) — Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of North Korea, has organized and supervised a combined drill of the Korean People’s Army, the country’s official KCNA news agency reported Sunday.

Kim Jong Un oversaw the entire military exercise, highlighting the downsides and indicated tasks.

According to KCNA, the North Korean leader instructed all units to rehearse under the simulated conditions of a real war and to be prepared at all times.

To suit the nature of modern warfare and meet the requirements of Juche-based war methods, it is necessary to frequently conduct such joint military drills, Kim was quoted as saying in a report, according to Yonhap news agency.

Kim Jong Un also called to take strong actions against formalism, which still exists in the military, and underscored the need for commanding officers to study hard and develop their training techniques.
