While everyone is mourning the separation of Anna Faris and "Parks and Recreation" star Chris Pratt, the heartache doesn’t end there, folks. Turns out, US President Donald Trump and "Saturday Night Live" writer Josh Patten’s summer bromance is over.

The love died Monday morning. The all-consuming, if one-way, relationship only lasted a month: the SNL comedy writer revealed their new relationship status as he responded to the commander in chief’s first tweets of his 17-day vacation.

It started with a casual "hey."

Then, Patten hit POTUS with the "there’s no good way to say this" spiel.

Oh the heartache! Who needs a tissue?

Like a knife to the heart – we’re dying over here.

And just like that, Patten goes for the final blow — All. Over. Text.

Despite Patten putting the final nail in the coffin, it seems even he is having a hard time looking back at their "summer loving" honeymoon stage.

While it’s worth mentioning this was a gag relationship the comedy writer initiated in early July, it’s still saddening to see such an end to "TruPatt." We’ll always have those tweets … hopefully.
