The mustache of British actor Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, became a reason for conflict between Paramount and Warner Bros. and for tons of jokes and memes on the internet. However, it turned out that mustachioed Superman looks pretty awesome!

Henry Cavill has a tight schedule and is currently acting in two blockbusters at the same time: "Justice League," the DC's upcoming superhero movie, and Paramount's action spy thriller "Mission: Impossible." That means he had to adopt two personas simultaneously. The trouble is that one of them, the spy caper, has a mustache which the actor is not allowed to shave off, according to his contract with the film studio.

Therefore, Warner Bros., which is in the middle of its large-scale reshoot process of the Justice League, will have to digitally remove the hair from Superman's face in postproduction for the movie, Variety magazine wrote on July 24.

Of course, the story quickly went viral and became a popular topic for jokes.

As it turned out, the actor showed a sneak peek of mustachioed Superman back in April.

Some netizens suggest that Henry's mustache should remain on Superman.

Many users noted that the mustache retouch can cost Warner Bros. a lot more than just a fake mustache to the creators of "Mission: Impossible."
