In a 30-second video clip, the artist informs Internet users about symptoms of the disease and calls on parents to closely monitor their children's health as well as make regular medical check-ups.

She also recommends parents to talk to their children about this problem and explain that it doesn't give them a reason to treat their diabetic classmates in a different way.

"Every third child with diabetes suffers humiliation from classmates. Talk to your children, explain to them that this injection is important for the lives of their friends," Gagarina said.

World Diabetes Day is annually celebrated on November 14. It was initiated by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1991 and is designed to raise awareness of diabetes among children and adults worldwide.

Diabetes is a chronic, non-infectious disease characterized by high levels of blood glucose (blood sugar). It can lead to improper functioning of many systems in the body, particularly the nervous and blood systems.

The disease develops as result of inadequate insulin production in the human body, or because the body's cells do not react properly to insulin, a hormone that regulates the level of sugar in the blood.
