A new mobile app created by Iranian developers allows it’s users to feel what it’s like to be an Iranian cop patrolling the streets of Tehran.

According to local media, the developers hope that the new game will help reduce the crime rate in the city and make the streets of the Iranian capital safer.

The app, which can be downloaded on any Android smartphone, allows it’s users to walk a mile in the shoes of an Iranian policeman, patrolling the streets of Tehran and catching criminals. The users will also be assigned specific missions, the successful completion of which will ultimately result in winning the game.

The Police Raid was created over the course of nine months by a 15-person team of developers and artists.
