As more and more Pokemon Go players have taken to the streets to hunt these digital creatures, it was only a matter of time before the ‘prey’ decided to retaliate – and attract more tourists to a certain Swiss city.

The following video, filmed in the city of Basel, shows a group of people dressed in Pikachu costumes who stalk Pokemon Go players and hit them with huge inflatable Pokeballs.

However, while it may look like an elaborate prank, this is in fact a creative PR stunt aimed at attracting more tourists to Basel. A link provided in the video directs viewers to Basel's official tourism website, which advertises the city sights while at the same time explaining what a great Pokemon hunting ground it is, along with enticing tourists to try a Pokeburger or visit the upcoming Pokemon Go festival.
