A random black cat became instantly famous after invading a rugby league field in Australia.

Many would consider the random appearance of a black cat to be foreboding, however this was not the case at a recent rugby game in Penrith, a suburb of Sydney.

On Sunday, a black cat was spotted sprinting across the rugby field during the league game between two Australian rugby teams: the Penrith Panthers and the Cronulla Sharks.

It turned out the miracle cat portended doom for local fans, as the home team, the Penrith Panthers, lost 26-10 to league champions the Sharks.

Despite the loss, this cat, with its wild crazy eyes and silly attitude, became the hero of the day!
