The banner was put up on the eve of Russia Day, which was celebrated on June 12.
The banner was hung from a bridge in High Lane Park and listed some of Russia’s achievements over the past few decades.
The most prominent achievements included the victory over Nazi Germany, the flight of Yuri Gagarin into space, the invention of the television by Vladimir Zvorykin and the military operation against Daesh terrorists in Syria.
