The Russian Fishing Regulator informed they would launch a special bank in the fishing industry — Rosrybbank. The hoax said a group of investors and fishermen came up with a bank that would work specifically to provide financial services to the fishing industry and individuals interested in starting fishing businesses.

A statement that the new bank would become one of the top-17 banks in Russia over the next 10-years and the slogans, such as "the Pollock is the King of the seas, the Herring is the Queen" and "Our shores for the development of coastal fisheries," were thrown out there by the press service of the bank.

Russian cosmonauts also love to have a good laugh. The Roscosmos State Corporation (Roscosmos) said the attachment of the spaceship Progress MS-02 with the International Space Station (ISS) would be delayed for six days due to a new mission to the Moon that would deliver food to a Russian lunar base.

The spaceship would deliver cargo to Russian cosmonauts on the Moon, say what?

Later on, however, the press service of the governmental body said the statement was an April Fools Day joke and thanked readers for reading Roscosmos news.

Meanwhile in Arbatskaya metro station, a picture of Joseph Stalin was said to have been installed in a hallway. The joke was that following the crumbling of a wall, metro authorities decided to fix the wall by putting up a picture of the famous Soviet leader.
