The win is reported to be the second largest in the history of the lottery.

The Eurojackpot lottery is open to residents of 17 European countries. To get the jackpot, participants have to guess five numbers out of 50 plus two additional out of ten.
Until the recent big win, the biggest amount of money in Germany won by a lottery player was €59 million. The money was gained by a resident of the German city of Hessen in December, 2014.
