Moscow's most popular cemeteries will also become free Wi-Fi zones.

Moscow city officials have decided to provide free Wi-Fi access at the city’s most popular cemeteries, according to media reports.

"Wireless Internet access will become available at the open territories of the Vagankovo, Novodevichy and Troekurovskoye cemeteries in the first half of 2016," reads a statement posted on the city administration’s official website.

According to the statement, this innovation will make visiting cemeteries more comfortable and educational. For example, a visitor will be able to learn more about people buried at the cemetery or obtain information on exceptional monuments, statues and tombstones by simply logging on at the spot.

Currently the initiative organizers are preparing a tender for Internet providers.
